This page explains where the numbers, frameworks and quotes on Centimillionaires.com come from and how they are checked.
Definitions
A centimillionaire is generally someone with at least US$100 million in wealth. Sources measure that wealth differently:
| Measure | What it includes | Main source on this site |
|---|---|---|
| Liquid investable wealth | Listed shares, cash and debt-free residential property. Private business stakes are left out. | Henley & Partners with New World Wealth |
| Net worth | Total assets less debts, including private holdings | Knight Frank, The Wealth Report |
Every statistic on the site says which measure it uses. Counts from different measures are shown side by side, never added together or compared as if they were the same.
Sources
We cite primary reports and official publications, and we record the publisher, report name and year with each figure. We do not publish estimates of any private family's wealth, and we do not use leaked or private data. Figures from older reports are kept only when the year is shown.
Frameworks
Strategy content is adapted from Richard C. Wilson's books. The 12-part series follows How to Start a Family Office (V3, August 7, 2024). Material from Centimillionaire Strategies uses the V7 text of August 28, 2024. Where a page explains or applies a framework, it says it is drawn from the book.
Quotes
Quotes are never edited. Fireside chat quotes are matched word for word to the recording's captions and credited to the guest. Book quotes are matched to the book text. Event quotes are matched to Family Office Club transcripts and credited as "Family Office Club event transcript". Guest views are their own.
